On Saturday April 20, to celebrate my birthday Jackie, Samantha, Kati and I met Jessica, Marjie, Robbin, Kyle, Cindy and Barb in Lee's Summit. We had lunch at Chili's. Jessica brought a DQ Icecream Cake for mine and Jackie's birthday (Hers was 15th, mine 19th).
Then we went to Bleeding Heart Tattoo and I got my first tat by Iron Raymond. If I was ever going to do it, it was time. After years of going back and forth on whether I wanted one or not, about 6 months ago I found one I liked and decided to go for it.
It was a good day.
April is one of my favorite months. For one, it is my birthday month. But it also always seems to assure me that winter is over, and it is time for birds singing and flowers blooming.
Basically, it gives me hope. Hope that dreams can come true, and life is truly good.
Lets give a little dance for April.
